Essex 2022 Festival
Having achieved several years ago the status of
'GOLD Patron' in donating to our Essex Fest2022 was an achievement in itself. However, several years later, concluding this month, our Lodge has gone that step further and achieved the status of 'PLATINUM Patron.'
Over 9 years our Lodge has donated a total of £36,000 to the Festivals target of £5m. The money will be donated to many worthy causes throughout Essex and for this our members should be justly proud.
Both our Lodge & Chapter donated £100 each to the Carli Lansley Foundation. The charity is to raise funds to help detect possible
'Sudden Arrythmic Death Syndrome' (SADS) in young people 14- 35 by providing ECG's. The monies raised will cover several days of tests for those in the Southend area during June to August, at Saxon Hall.

Our 'very active' Charity Steward, Austin Latham arranged another Chinese Night at the Zen City, Hamlet Court Road, during November 2021. 85 attended the now usual, hustle & bustle, atmospheric evening of food, drink and friendship.
There was a raffle with some 15 or so, prizes which helped with the raising overall for our Masters charity
