The following picture is of a solid silver tray which was presented to

W/Bro W.L Crow in December 1906 for his services as Preceptor

Text Box: THE INSCRIPTION READS Presented to W/BRO W.L. CROW P.M. Nos 1076 & 2717 P.P.A.G.SEC., ESSEX by the Members of the ALBERT LUCKING LODGE OF INSTRUCTION FOR HIS VAULABLE SERVICES PRECEPTOR During the past 7 years 17th DECEMBER 1906

The tray measures 10” (26cm) in diameter and stands on 3, 1” (2.5cm) legs—it was valued in 2003 at £900, so we can assume this figure may be a little higher now and needless to say it is kept in a safe place.

We are not sure if there is any truth in the rumour that the present Preceptor who has been performing the work for the past 12 years, is getting a little excited!!
