As explained at the beginning of my appeal, I chose the EAA as in performing my job I regularly travel the roads of Essex and invariably find myself stuck in traffic jams—other than the jams caused by heavy traffic some are caused by accidents which the Essex Air Ambulance attends—they provide a vital service, but one I hope I personally will not require!”

A very big thank you to all you guys for supporting my charity during the year
THE ESSEX AIR AMBULANCE |

The Albert Lucking Lodge are on a roll with another donation of £3300 to the Essex Air Ambulance – Our reigning master Paul Thurgood chose the charity during his year and presented a cheque to Frank Rush from EAA. Frank thanked the brethren of the Lodge and intimated that the donation will pay for 1½ flights – the fact it would cover just 1 full flight brought home to those present at the presentation the serious amount of money needed to run this live saving service.: |

During the year we managed to raise £3300 which covers just 1½ flights and clearly shows the monies needed to keep the helicopter flying. Earlier in the year I was pleased to have Frank Rush from EAA come along to Saxon Hall and below is a picture of me presenting our cheque to him with also Clem and Richard. Below that is a further picture with brief narrative we are hoping will be shown in the Essex Mason.
Thank you all again Brethren for a task well done. Paul... |
