MESSAGE FROM OUR PAST MASTER

Text Box: I would like to thank all the member’s for their help and support throughout my year. I’ve had a great time as the Master of the Lodge and I was able to visit some 15 other lodges on the reigning masters’ circuit. The support I received from you for my chosen charity was fantastic, as was the golf day (well done Dean). I presented a cheque for the monies raised to the Carnival Queen on behalf of The Southend Carnival Estate Fund. It will be used to update one of the Almshouses in Leigh-on-Sea, run by the fund. Thank you very much for all the support.

The Ladies Night, was of course, the hi-light of the year and I know my wife Carole greatly enjoyed it. My thanks go out to Andy and his team for all his arranging and of course his wife Linda, who I know was really in ‘charge!’ - Saxon Hall has again proved itself to becoming a first class venue for these functions.

Finally, may I now wish Richard all the best for his year. I can now sit back and rest a little at the LOI but of course, will give my support to our up and coming officers.
